Sen 閃 is a Japanese character that can evoke meanings such as spark, flash or a moment of sudden insight - ideas that resonate with my approach to image-making: observational and precise. I do not stage moments, I recognise them. Timing, light and human connection guide my work. The camera becomes a way of noticing what is already there and giving it lasting form.

With a background in theatre and fine arts, my practice is informed by both presence and composition. This influences the images in a subtle but distinctive way: a sensitivity to atmosphere, an instinct for framing, and a deep understanding of when to step forward and when to disappear behind the camera.

Across weddings, portraits, and events, each project is approached with care and restraint. My aim is not to over-direct, but to create the conditions in which something honest can unfold. This creates a body of work that is both visually precise and emotionally resonant. At the heart of my practice is the belief that photography can preserve more than appearance - it can hold mood, connection, and memory in a way that remains meaningful over time.
